Turkey : Minister explained: He reports will be valid

Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk made a written statement regarding the new decisions taken within the scope of corona virus measures.

In his written statement, Minister Selçuk said, “The medical reports and prescriptions of our chronic patients that expire on March 1 and after will be valid until a second announcement. There will be no need for re-prescription arrangements. The patients who received medicines and medical supplies based on the medical report due to their chronic illness will not need to be re-prescribed. ”

Minister Selçuk stated that they would not be obliged to apply to healthcare providers to print prescriptions for chronic patients and those in the high-risk group, and that they will cover the cost of medicines and medical supplies by the Social Security Institution.

Reminding the citizens of the Ministry of Health to comply with 14 recommended rules against the coronavirus risk, Minister Selçuk reminded the 14-day quarantine period and said:

Citizens from abroad will be able to receive a rest, incapacity report for up to 14 days by a single physician in case of diagnosis of Z03.8 and Z03.9, and the incapacity benefit will be covered by SGK. ”
