Bursa AKP Metropolitan Municipality has excluded students who use public transportation as of 1 January 2020 in the excess tariff.
According to the data announced by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality to Sözcü, 40 thousand 695 subscribers were given in 2017, 43 thousand 52 in 2018, 53 thousand 29 in 2019, and 6 thousand 175 in the first month of 2020.
Compared to the previous year, it was stated that the student increased 25 percent in this card. In Bursa, the student subscription card was reduced from 110 TL to 90 TL in 2017.
STUDENTS HAVE 25 PERCENT INCREASE IN THE BOARD
According to the data of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality; In 2019, the number of student cards has increased by 53 thousand 29 and 25% in this discounted card compared to the previous year. In 2015-2020, the total of the last five years, the number of student cards was 230 thousand. Turkey’s population of 3 million 56 thousand and the total number of these cards 4th in Bursa, the largest province in 2015-2020 reached 483 thousand.
50 IN ISTANBUL, 90 TL IN BURSA
Before the 15th of May 2019 in Istanbul, the full monthly akbil was 205 TL, while this figure was 85 TL for student academics. With the decision taken on May 15, 2019 after the local election, the student academy was even more attractive when the price was reduced from 85 TL to 40 TL. With the hike on February 7, this price had increased to 50 TL.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality excluded students from the raise tariffs it made for transportation from January 1, 2020. Student monthly subscription fee is 90 TL in Bursa. Students in Bursa will travel cheaper than the tariff in 2016 in 2019.
MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE UNDER THE RATIO
With the new arrangement made in Bursa, metro full boarding was 2.90 TL and 2.55 TL with discount. With the arrangement, the bus long line was 3.80 TL and the short line was 3 TL. Monthly full subscription was determined as 200 TL with an increase of 11 percent. The student subscription price was fixed at 90 TL.
