Turkey : She was charged with sexual assault on her cousin and was arrested for another crime!

Ayşenur Güven, who lives in the district of Alanya, has been exposed to sexual assault by her uncle’s son Selahattin Sezer since she was a child.

Ayşenur Güven, who was sexually assaulted for the first time at the age of 6, married Mustafa Güven in 2015 when she turned 18 to get rid of her experiences.

However, his cousin’s sexual attacks continued during Ayşenur’s engagement and marriage. Ayşenur Güven, who was threatened by Selahattin Sezer saying “I have videos and photos,” told his wife, brother and uncle on April 5, 2017 and left a letter to his wife and committed suicide after 3 days.

The family complained about Selahattin Sezer for alleged harassment and sexual assault on their daughters and caused suicide. Selahattin Sezer, who was taken into custody upon this, was arrested by the sentimental judge, where he was taken to the courthouse where he was transferred. Sezer was sentenced to 14 years in prison for “qualified sexual abuse” in the case held in Alanya 1st High Criminal Court.

Upon objection, the file went to the Supreme Court. Sulahattin Sezer, who was the only witness of the incident on June 24, 2019 by the 14th Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, could not be heard as a result of the suicide and that the first-degree witness disappeared, is sufficient to be punished that Selahattin Sezer has committed the crime. It was decided that the case will be seen again in the local court by majority of votes on the grounds that there is no evidence.

While Selahattin Sezer was released with the decision, the file was sent to the 1st High Criminal Court in Alanya for the case to be seen again. Selahattin Sezer was tried again in the 1st High Criminal Court in Alanya. Sezer, who did not attend the hearing on November 14, 2019, was sentenced to 14 years in prison and arrested.

After the court decision, Selahattin Sezer was arrested on 19 November 2019 as a result of the operation of the gendarmerie in the house where he was hidden in Susuz Plateau in the countryside of Alanya. Selahattin Sezer was arrested by the magistrate judge on 20 November 2019.

Sezer’s lawyer appealed to the 2nd High Criminal Court, which was the upper court on 5 December 2019. The court delegation, which evaluated the objection, ruled that Sezer was released by an electronic handcuff and a house arrest warrant. Sezer was released from Alanya Prison, where she was detained on the night of the same day.

Selahattin Sezer, who left today’s house and went to Alanya Courthouse to find out the status of the case, was caught passing through the police station.

Selahattin Sezer, who was determined by the 3rd Criminal Court of First Instance for a 2-year and 6-month prison sentence, which was determined as “injured” in another file, was detained. After the proceedings, Selahattin Sezer was sent to Alanya Prison by the Asayiş Bureau execution teams. DHA
