Turkey : The fire ladder did not catch up, crashing down from the eighth floor to the ground!

According to the information obtained, the fire occurred in the 13-storey Doğa Plaza Apartment located in the Viransehir District of Mezitli District.

The fire that broke out on the 8th floor of the apartment for an unknown reason suddenly surrounded the house. Yasemin Ozel, who was caught in fear and panic by staying in excessive smoke and flames and stated to be alone at home, climbed into the balcony.

Meanwhile, upon the notice, the fire truck opened the ladder, which reached the scene in a short time. However, since the fire ladder he opened was short, he could go up to the 8th floor.

THE SECOND VEHICLE HAS NOT OPENED THE LADDER

In the meantime, a new fire truck with a ladder that can reach up to 8 floors was requested upon the ladder of the first fire truck reaching the scene from the Mezitli Firefighting Festival only until the 6th floor.

Thereupon, the fire truck with the long staircase reached the scene from the city center. While the firefighters were trying to open the ladder in the vehicle, Yasemin Özel, who could not stand any more on the balcony she was climbing and hanging on, fell into a gap and lost her life. Many people watching the fire in the environment witnessed the death of Ozel.

VERSATILE INVESTIGATION STARTED

On the other hand, while the investigation about the fire, which the fire team allegedly did not open in the tarpaulin, was multi-faceted, it was determined that the young girl came to her fiancé from Germany a while ago. It was claimed that the entrance door of the house where the fire broke out was also massive and the young girl could not go out for this reason.

A multi-faceted investigation was launched by the Public Prosecutor’s Office regarding the incident.
