Hakan Kara, a former chief economist of the Central Bank (CBRT), left the CBRT and started working at Bilkent University. Kara, who has been working at the bank for more than 10 years, will take office in Bilkent University, Department of Economics.
After the dismissal of Murat Çetinkaya at the CBRT with the President’s Decision in July 2019, more than 10 people, including Kara, were dismissed in August and new appointments were made to some positions.
Kara has been working as a consultant at the CBRT since the relevant date. (Reuters)
