Konya Pekit Families Association President Recep Pekdemir stated that the harsh and distinctive language used by political party leaders over martyrs made them sad.
“TURKEY NO OTHER”
Emphasizing that the political party leaders have not liked the language they have used in Syria operations and martyr news recently, Pekdemir said:
Whatever the political views, this homeland is ours. 3 of us are sea but unfortunately 4 of us are full of enemies. As we families of martyrs, we are burning when we see the political polemics in newspapers or televisions. Why are the ruling or opposition parties constantly fighting with each other?

As families of martyrs, we now want to hear good things about the unity and integrity of our country. Please politicians show sensitivity to this. Because no other Turkey.
“WE NEED THE ÇANAKKALE SPIRIT”
Providing advice to every family with children, Pekdemir said, “Every mother and father in our country should definitely take them to Çanakkale to instill the national spirit. Our children will witness how our grandfathers died for this homeland without separation. What we need most now is the spirit of Çanakkale. ”

Pekdemir also stated that they will make a big event in Konya to commemorate the martyrs on Sunday, February 8, and said:
* We will make an organization worthy of our city only with Turkish flags without any politics of party flag.
* We want to give a message of unity and solidarity in the organization where our mayor of Konya, our Provincial Police Chief and all political party heads will attend.
